The Study of Well-Being in Grade 12 Students

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the well-being of high school students and to determine comparability of well-being held by these students in regard to ; (1) gender ; (2) programs;(3) academic achievement ;(4) family status. The sample used in this study was 156 grade 12 students in the first semester year of 2013 at Phranakorn Si Ayutthaya.The data was selected by Cluster Sampling. The instrument used in the study was a Ryff’s Psychology Well-Being Scales (PWB),42 Item version. The data was analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results of the study were as follows : 1. The sample in this study has total well-being score was 177.22 2. Well-Being in grade 12 students with different gender were not different. 3. Well-Being in grade 12 studentswith different programs ,academic achievement and family status were significantly different at .05 level.
