Using Educational Technology to Enhance Student Engagement and Retention

Abstract

The Bachelor of Accounting course of the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE in Australia was recently established and has adopted educational and information technology (EIT) in the delivery of the course. This paper is written to identify the EIT tools that have been used in teaching and to evaluate the perception of teachers about the success of these tools to enhance active learning and student engagement
