Abstract
This paper pays attention on the variation of tea plantation wage earners from 2006 to 2015. A detailed description on the variation is combined with the changes of weather and annual hot issues. The types of tea are rich, and different tea has different quality standard of fresh leaves picking, especially the famous high-quality tea, which has very high quality standard of fresh leaves picking. Because of non-compliance of tea plantation cultivation, mechanization of agriculture has limitation, thus picking by hand is significant. With the increasing of labor costs and aging of population, handwork picking faces enormous problem. The wages of tea plantation wage earners sustain the growth over 10 years, from 30 yuan per day to 120 yuan per day. Additionally, labor forces are not enough. Even the bosses give generous treatment, they still cannot find enough workers. Granger Causality Test is used to analyze the relationship between wages and tea price. Finally, some conclusions and recommendations are put out.
